It is less about the PS3's price rather the perceived value involved.Add some flagship titles to the mix and the bitter aftertaste disappears.The average consumer isn't blind,rather broken.The price of the PS3 by itself is still viewed with uncertainty but quality bundle deals can keep the uncertainty at bay until the 'whispered' price drop/slim unveiling.The whisper will become a deafening roar.

The fact that the PS3 online community is a strong,diverse group that values variety or that all attempts to prove otherwise have failed.With games like LBP,Warhawk,MGO,Socom,Wipeout, etc.etc,why would one limit themselves to playing FPS games only? You are right in regards to supply and demand.My example was off,I should have said the 'tactic used is similar to the gasoline scam,raise it a ridiculous amount until the call for a price drop is deafening.Then miraculously it is lowered to slightly above its original cost and everyone is filling up again'.Thats how I see it.Not everything is priced according to the laws of supply/demand.Various tactics,albeit unscrupulous,are used to manipulate supply and demand.

Ubisoft's earnings down,SC delayed,reasons and explanations abound.The Ceo of Ubi officially puts the rumors to rest,in the meantime Ubisoft's stocks plummet and the 'flagship' money title is left to simmer a while longer.The house is built but stands vacant.AC2 is on the horizon and as I see it,Ubi will be monitoring it's success/failure on the PS3 very closely indeed.Once the dust has settled on AC2 I think we will get a clearer view.
